RASGAS tank construction, Qatar

These men are helping to construct an enormous tank in Qatar. The floor in this tank is at least three feet thick and the walls four feet, of cement. The men were very busy but also extremely proud of the work they were doing, so they gave me a few moments. I positioned them to take advantage of the mixed lighting, and so that the pattern of the overhead structure would be repeated in the toolbelt at right. By paying attention to such small details I can better direct the eye of the viewer and draw him into the picture.
