Geologist analyzing seismic data

Taken in Argentina, I was able to capture both the subject and the nature of this geologist's work by asking him to hold the translucent printouts above his face. I positioned him so that the light from a window gave drama to his face and backlit the chart, in effect painting his work across his face.
